Saudi Arabia UFC loses 2 fights in less than 48 hours

The Saudi Arabia Charter UFC is lashing until Saturday, February 1, between January 26-27, two fights have been canceled for separate reasons.

UFC Saudi Arabia – Muniz Vs. Alisrov left

On Sunday, Andre Muniz informed fans that he was forced to withdraw his fight with Ikram Alisrov because of visa issues. Muniz had hoped to restore the momentum he had in 2019 when he entered the UFC as winner in Dana White contenders series.

However, he will have to plan his resurrection for another time. Also, Alisrov wanted to dance from his first round of KO to Robert Whittaker in June 2024.

The last cancellation marked the second time that both men were planned to fight, just to remove it.

UFC Saudi Arabia – Al -Selwady vs oki was called

On Monday, Abdul-Kareem al-Selwady vs Bolaji Oki was canceled. Al-Selwady broke news about his opponent by withdrawing from the war.

It seems that Al-Selwady was not meant to fight on this card. He was initially scheduled to face Jordan Leavitt on this card, but the latter also withdrew.

The 29-year-old Al-Selwady is eager to enter the octagon. Like Muniz and many other fighters, Al-Selwady won his place on the list in an episode of Dana White contenders series. Unfortunately for Al-Selwady, he lost his main debut for Loik Radzhabov through the third round in March 2024.

The pressure will be in Al-Selwady to win in his next war, no matter whom he faces.

Oki won his place on the list during the same season of Dwcs like al-Selwady. However, he left for a strong start with a victory by a separate decision on Timmy Cuamba in February 2024.

In his last war, Oki went into a buzzing saw. Chris Duncan presented Oki in the first round, making the latter’s next war one important for his career moving forward.

As it is, both men will have to rebuild. Fortunately, the main and co-chair events for Saudi Arabia of UFC are still in the country. Israel Adesanya will try to make one more run in the title, but he will have to defeat Nassourdine Imavov first.

UP-and Middle, Shara Magomedov will get its fiercest challenge still against veteran striker Michael “Venom” in the co-main event.
